Description

New for 2021

Just a short stroll from the pebbled beach at Milford on Sea, Columbia House offers far reaching views across The Solent towards the Isle of Wight and The Needles beyond. Recently refurbished throughout and designed with coastal living in mind, the interior has soothing seaside colour schemes and relaxed spaces for the whole family to enjoy.

An open plan living area with floor to ceiling glass doors affords a light, bright space for cooking, dining and seating. A separate snug and games room is a quiet area for children to enjoy, with books, games and PlayStation console. Upstairs there are four stylish bedrooms, two with en suite facilities, and a separate family bathroom.

Outside, the enclosed private paved garden has a raised terrace for al fresco dining with a sea view, a relaxed seating area in the sheltered lower part of the garden with gas barbecue and soothing water feature.

Milford on Sea is a pretty coastal village with an array of independent shops, cafes and pubs centred around the village green. With its own wine bar, micro-brewery and renowned restaurants this vibrant spot has plenty to tempt you during your stay.

The New Forest National Park, with it’s free-roaming ponies, is just a short drive away, as is the Georgian market town of Lymington. From here, you can catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight for an exciting day out, perhaps to visit The Needles themselves! Other local attractions include Hurst Castle and the Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve which can be explored on foot or by bike along the Solent Way. Breath-taking cliff top walks with spectacular views, great beaches and thriving wildlife make this a perfect holiday base.
