Ferryman's Rest is a delightful first-floor apartment in the courtyard at Helford Passage, and is in a perfect position for catching the late afternoon sun - imagine lazy afternoons on the balcony with a chilled glass of Cornish Rattler Cyder. The property has been restyled this year and now has a contemporary feel with modern lighting and accents of light blue and mustard. The Old Sail Loft was once used to house the sails from the boats moored in, and visiting, Helford Passage. It was later converted into holiday accommodation. This light, seaside themed apartment has a comfortable living room with feature electric fire for those chilly spring and autumn evenings and two bedrooms, making it a great venue for couples or small families.
Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path. There’s plenty to do on site including hire of kayaks or paddle boards to get you out on the water, or if you prefer, there’s the heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1st until the end of September). The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Maurier’s Fisherman’s Creek. Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to historic and bustling Falmouth, experience rugged Land’s End or the gentle gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.

Designated parking space for 1 car. Further parking is available in the non-residents' car park, just a stroll up the hill, for which charges apply.
