Honeymead Farmhouse, near Exford, is a country house with magnificent views across Exmoor, offering guests warm, comfortable and spacious self-catering farmhouse accommodation. Honeymead is a 1,000 acre estate which has been owned by the Waley-Cohen family since the early part of the last century and as well as a large garden, the farmhouse benefits from extensive views over the estate and beyond. Visitors may to walk over the estate to join public footpaths along the River Barle as it flows from Simonsbath towards Landacre Bridge and the village of Withypool.
We are approximately one hour's drive from the beautiful surfing beaches of North Devon - Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough. A great day out.
Sailing and water activities are available at Wimbleball Lake.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). We do ask please do not allow them on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. If they do cause any damage there will be a charge, thank you for your cooperation. Please keep them on a lead when taking them through the farm and fields. Thank you.
