Ivy Cottage is located in the heart of the charming fishing village of Polruan, just a short walk from the Quay, beach, and local pubs. This cosy cottage features a quirky reverse-level layout, with two double bedrooms and a large family bathroom on the ground floor, and an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner plus a third bedroom upstairs. The property boasts stunning views of the harbour and across to Fowey from its elevated decked garden.

Whether you’re enjoying a day walking the coast path, dining out in the village, or taking the passenger ferry over to Fowey, you'll always find plenty to do. Fowey offers an abundance of fantastic places to eat and charming boutique shops. Ivy Cottage is the perfect destination for a memorable holiday, no matter the season.

Accommodation:

Entrance Level;

Bedroom 1 with 4ft 6 double bed.
Bedroom 2 with 4ft 6i double bed.
Both have wardrobes and drawers.
Family Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Stairs leading up to:

Living Area with wood burner, smart Tv and 2 sofas.
Kitchen/Dining Area with an electric oven and hob, fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave oven and Tassimo coffee machine.
Bedroom 3 leads off living area, with 6ft king size bed, wardrobe and smart TV.

Outside:

Large elevated decked and grass area with table and seating. Wonderful views across the harbour to Fowey.  Top part of the garden is accessible, but kept long with wild flowers.  Accessed via 26 steps.
Basement under the cottage which has the washing machine, spare fridge freezer, BBQ and plenty of storage room if required.

Parking:

There is no allocated parking for the property. (You can momentarily stop to unload your luggage and passenger at the bottom of the lane whilst you go and park).
There are two public car parks at the top at the village, (you can purchase weekly passes from St Saviour (charges apply).

• Included: Bed linen, towels (no beach towels so please bring your own), electricity, heating (electric radiators).
• Telephone: Not provided. Mobile reception mixed. Wi-Fi. 
• Pets: Two well behaved dogs welcome. The pet fee is £30 per pet per week. 
• Local Facilities: Polruan tidal beach, Readymoney sandy cove in Fowey.  Local shop in Polruan. Pelynt for groceries and a good food pub just over 3 miles. Fowey across the estuary (passenger ferry that operates between Polruan and Fowey, operates throughout the year) for lots of shops and pubs/restaurants, the charming harbourside village of Polperro 6 miles, the seaside town of Looe 10 miles.
• Polruan is situated on a very steep hill,  access to some parts of the village can be challenging. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps and slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you require additional information.
