Close to some of the finest beaches in South Devon, Lavender Cottage, a gorgeous, cosy and beautifully presented cottage, perfect for a couple or small family, sits in the sleepy village of Bigbury, less than two miles from the wide stretches of golden sandy beaches of Bigbury on Sea with the iconic Burgh Island. Miles of sandy beaches and rock pools, perfect for family days at the beach as well as a popular destination for kite surfers and windsurfers, with Discovery Surf School and the Venus Cafe providing an excellent base once at the beach.
The village of Modbury, full of independent shops and eateries just a short drive, the Oyster Shack a renowned seafood extravaganza within a ten minute drive, Lavender Cottage provides the perfect base for enjoying all this coastal area has to offer. Take a trip to Burgh Island at any time of year and enjoy the ever-changing landscapes in this fabulous area. The South West Coastal Path is easily accessible from the cottage, making this property perfect for walkers too, plus of course further afield areas of the South Hams, Totnes, Dartmouth and Dartmoor National Park all within easy reach for exploring.
Please note: Due to the size of the second bedroom, this bedroom is most suitable for one adult (perfectly fine for two children).
