Set within this popular Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a ten minute drive from the fabulous beaches of Bigbury on Sea, Little Cumery Barn provides an excellent base from which to explore the glorious sandy beaches and fabulous coastal and countryside walks within this popular area. Tucked in a peaceful countryside location between the villages of Bigbury and Aveton Gifford, at the end of a long private driveway in a tiny hamlet, Little Cumery which was converted from solid stone two barns and is believed to date from the early 1800s, provides a comfortable and inviting home from home for guests to relax and unwind.
Pet friendly with a fully enclosed garden, this also makes it an ideal choice for dog owners who want to explore the beautiful surroundings without leaving their beloved pets behind. With three bedrooms, and spacious living areas the barn will comfortably accommodate families or groups of friends looking for a wonderful coastal getaway.
Please note: The Twin room is suitable for children or guests under 5ft 2" due to the length of the beds.

Ground Floor: Hallway and cloak area, leading into the open plan kitchen/living space, tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities with stylish rustic charm. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor ensures the barn is always warm and inviting in all seasons.
Well-equipped large kitchen diner comprehensively fitted with an electric Smeg range with five ring hob, large family-friendly fridge freezer, dishwasher, Dualit toaster and microwave.
Large dining table to seat eight, the dining area provides a sociable cooking and dining space.
Stylish triple aspect lounge area seating with huge sofas, heaps of books and games, Smart TV, full height sliding patio doors opening out to the south facing rear garden.
Retractable baby stair gates available at both sets of steps from the kitchen and lounge areas.
Steps from the kitchen lead down to the snug, furnished with corner sofabed and armchairs, log burner and large skylights. French doors open out onto the eastern terrace.
From the snug, steps rise up to the inner hall giving access to the utility room with a large load washing machine with WC.
Further along the hall is Bedroom 1 with a 5ft King size bed, fitted wardrobes.

From the lounge, a staircase leads to the first floor and a galleried landing with a dedicated workstation with desk and monitor.
There are two upstairs bedrooms, both with vaulted timber panelled ceilings.
The first, the Master Bedroom has a 5ft King size bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table.
The second, Bedroom 3 has twin 3ft single beds (NB beds are each 1.6m long), with two additional low pull-out trundle beds. Chest of drawers, hanging hooks on the door. Shelves and drawers with children’s toys. (when all 4 beds are in use space is limited)
Family bathroom with bath and shower over, vanity unit and WC.
Outside:
Wrap around gardens along the side and rear of the property, with patio area furnished with garden table and chairs, leading down to a terrace, enclosed with timber picket fencing and shrubs.
A small outdoor shed is available for use by the front door, for sports and beach equipment.
Parking:
To the front of the property is a parking area for two cars.
Electric Vehicle charging is possible at this property using the mains supply, at an additional cost of £30 per car per week.
