New for 2024
The Nook has been recently refurbished to provide a comfortable holiday home in a peaceful setting nestled on the edge of a local golf course. The spacious ground floor benefits from a bedroom with shower room, alongside a sociable open plan living space, separate cosy lounge with wood burning stove and a useful utility/boot room. Upstairs are two bright and airy bedrooms with a family bathroom in between.
The Nook is just a short drive from Hythe, a small waterside town located on the shores of Southampton Water. The pretty Georgian High Street is home to a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs and there is a weekly Tuesday market to visit. The town’s Victorian pier has a unique electric train, officially the oldest working pier train in the world! Take a trip from the end of the pier on the Hythe Ferry which links the town to Southampton, taking in the busy harbour and any docked cruise liners on the way.
The Nook is located within the New Forest National Park, with miles of footpaths and cycle tracks to explore. The nearby Dibden Golf Course and Applemore Leisure Centre are open to all. Other local attractions include the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Longdown Activity Farm, New Forest Wildlife Park, Paulton’s Park with Peppa Pig World, Furzey and Exbury Gardens and Calshot Activity Centre.
