The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break and the famous Cob to explore.  For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap.  Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms.   A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and small theatre can be found.
