Description

New for 2024

Springers Cottage is perfectly located in the centre of the picturesque New Forest village of Brockenhurst. Full of character and charm, the older cob part of the cottage is over 300 years old, with low ceilings and exposed beams in places, with a light and bright extension has been extended to give a spacious base for your next New Forest holiday.

Inside, a large lounge with comfy sofas and wood burning stove has room for everyone to relax, with French doors leading outside into the rear garden. The spacious dining kitchen is the real heart of the home, a sociable space for mealtimes and culinary creations. A downstairs bedroom and cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs the master bedroom suite has its own en-suite bathroom, with two further bedrooms benefitting from a beautifully refitted family bathroom, complete with copper slipper bath nestled under the eaves.

Outside the secluded garden has an area of lawn bordered with mature flower beds. A rattan dining set on the terrace offers a peaceful spot for drinks and dining and a charcoal barbecue is available.

The village of Brockenhurst is within a 2 minute walk of the cottage, with a selection of pubs, restaurants and café’s as well as a choice of mini supermarkets and gift shops. The renowned Pig restaurant is close by, as is Careys Manor, both offering fine dining options, and the latter has a wonderful day spa option. The New Forest National Park, with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys is a short stroll away, with miles of walking and cycling routes to explorer. Within a 10 minute drive or five minute train ride is the Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight for an exciting day out! Other local attractions include Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard Maritime Museum and many beaches along the Solent and south coast beyond.
